Birmingham, AL here. Just found the videos a few days ago (yes, I have seen them all now ) Thought I would jump in and hang out in the forums. Gardening has always been a huge part of my life. Big Thanks to the Bayou Gardener for the website and forums!

I live in Lafayette, Louisiana. Getting ready for spring. Had my first garden Last year 2009. My garden is above ground, each box is 4' x 8' and I have ten boxes. Will add two more this spring. Last year I grew, egg plant, tomatoes, bannana melons, bell peppers, okra, corn, squash, cucumbers and guords. Had a good season. This winter I grew, turnips, mustard greens, lettuse, carrots, colards, snow peas, broccoli and cauilflour. Did just ok. Will get better as I learn.

One back yard, ten 4x8 boxes, little sunshine, little water and a little blessing from God. One day I will have a farm. Do you have five acres I can buy cheap?
