I have surveyed the situation here.  I am slowed to a crawl with the Crud.  Th weather is awesome.  The soil temps are at 66o down to 4" and the long range forecasts only show mid 30s for a week or so.  That being the case I am going to roll the dice with planting a couple of things.  I planted 200' of Contender green beans and 100' of Sugar Snap peas.  I am not that worried about anything with the Sugar Snaps but the Contenders are not a frost hardy as a lot of beans.  In Fall I planted Cherokee Wax yellow beans and contenders side by side.  The early frosts hurt the Contenders but the Cherokees held up really well.

In two days I have planted Contenders, Sugar Snaps, turnips, spinach, beets and mustards.  Sumptins gotta grow big enuff to eat!   Grin  Grin  Grin

72 degrees, clear blue sky and........35-45 MPH winds ALL DAY LONG.  Sad   I dumped about 15 bags of leaves on one of my garden spots yesterday, thinking it would rain on them, and I'd till them in first of the week. Well, that was a waste of time. There are NO leaves on that garden, nothing but clean soil... Angry  On the plus side, I think the wind helped dry up what little rain we did get, so I should be able to lay off a few rows Monday for taters and onions.
