I'm Seasoned!

« on: September 02, 2013, 03:03:13 PM »

I tried hickory KING a few years back and it was real good but my dad always talks about how good hickory CANE was growing up. I gave him a few ear of hickory king and he said it was not the same. Hickory Cane is an 8 row corn and hickory king is a 10 or 12 row.

I have been looking for around 4 years now. Maybe not looking real hard but once I find it I wont let it go!

Thanks for any help!

Have seen it in a couple of seed catalogues.  Maybe S.E.S.E . I know it is in the SSE yearbook. If nobody comes up with the info I will look it up for you.                    Notalotofarm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am growing what I think is Hickory Cane (seed from my friend cnadiney).  If it has eight rows of seed I will let you know.  Contact me:  octoberlane@yahoo.com with mailing address.
