The Fourth of July is coming up.  A time to celebrate freedom.  Families gathering together, cook out, swimming, watermelons and fun.  The Fourth should be a time to reflect on the cost of freedom.  Unfortunately many of our fellow Americans just see it as a day off and really nothing more that a trip to the fireworks stands with the kids. (nothing wrong with fireworks)  They go about the day and don’t realize that something is missing, or should I say somebody.  Over a million Americans have paid the ultimate sacrifice to insure we have the freedoms of this great country.   Millions of other have served and gave up so much in the process.  Right now there are thousands of dedicated American fighting men and women who put their lives in harms way so we can sleep well tonight.
One of those Heroes was Navy SEAL Team VI Operator Adam Brown.
Here is a link the NRA Patriot Profile video:

http://www.nralifeofduty.tv/#/patriotprofiles/list/dosortsearch,pp_adambrown

The book Fearless: The Undaunted Courage and Ultimate Sacrifice of Navy SEAL Team SIX Operator Adam Brown hit number seven on the NYT best sellers list last month.
This is not your typical military story; Adam Brown was a real person with real problems.  His life was full of struggles, some could say he really didn’t have a chance and should have been written off.  Though the grace of God and his loving wife Adam made it to the “Tip of the Spear” and in dong so touched countless people along the way.

FEARLESS is the story of a man of extremes, whose determination was fueled by faith, family, and the love of a woman. It’s about a man who waged a war against his own worst impulses and persevered to reach the top tier of the U.S. military. Always the first to volunteer for the most dangerous assignments, Adam’s final act of bravery led to the ultimate sacrifice.
FEARLESS is the intimate story of a devoted man who was an unlikely hero but a true warrior, described by all who knew him as just that—fearless

If you have not read this book I encourage you to pick up a copy.  You will not be disappointed I promise.

True enough I'm not happy either!  Just feels like we lost our country.
Yet I'm determined to not let our country go the way of Greece.  Time to vote and use the freedom we still have and make a difference.
But Adams story and many other like it may inspire people to "do the right thing" just as his parents told him in the book.
I believe that if a guy can go from a crack head/felon to a Navy Seal Operator then we can turn this country around. He lost an eye(dominate shooting eye) and still went to sniper school.  Had his fingers crushed off and turns around to re-train himself to shoot left handed to continue thought Seal Team Training.

The one thing about all this is just one simple fact:
God is still in control.
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

It's time to rally the troops and hope we're not too late. Don't just ask those you know "if" they vote, tell them they HAVE to vote. Then you explain why. We need to kick all the bums out of Washington to save our Freedom and Country. I agree God is still in control but we must turn to him.

First things first: This is NOT about politics. It's about your, and your childrens' and grandchildrens' FUTURE.
Quitcha griping and DO something!
Start doing the things that ENABLE you.
GET INVOLVED. Study and learn the truth about things you don't like and understand the dark side of things you DO like.
Talk to LIKE MINDED people, because you CANNOT change people who WON'T believe.
REGISTER, and VOTE, because it's the only way you can have a chance in changing the things that are happening.

Start doing things that ENABLES others.
Talk to your friends, and SHOW them the truth that you KNOW. Don't just give your opinion. Give facts and figures, and show them where THEY can find them.
When they are enabled, each of them will talk to THEIR friends.
MAKE SURE that they are registered to vote, and if possible, TAKE them to vote. It's the only way THEY can make changes in the things that are happening.
It's time for the "sleeping giant" to awaken!

There is a funeral tomorrow about 30 miles from my home for a local soldier who recently died in action. One of those idiotic church groups that protest at soldier funerals plan on being there tomorrow. I don't feel much like a good Christian right now Sad

America is not it's problem, some of its' people are the problem.  Certain groups of socialists, communists and degenerates have infiltrated parts of the government and being a bureaucracy they are like fleas dug in on a hound.  We should work on removing the people and get this country back to representing the people an not "leading" them.  I have been lead down the path.  The present election system does not allow a true person of the people to rise up.  Sorry folks but whoever gets elected pres is just going to serve up more of the same stuff we have had for over 60 years.  More socialism, more economic control over the little guy while giving the trillonaire bankers free reign and guaranteed business.  The country has been stacked in favor of a few elite wealthy people in the George Soros class.  The elected officials carry out precise plans to make the elite more powerful and rich while shackling the average citizen.

Most people don't realize that the USSR voted in elections.  They had elections just like we do now.  The big shots picked who ran against each other and the two were identically aligned with each other so the big shots in the USSR didn't care or have to worry who won.  Just like here in the US now.

We have to take back local governments before we can get the feds out of office and picking who we vote for.   Wink  Concentrate on local races, support good people that are not afraid to go head to head with big money candidates picked by the rich and elite.

Mr Bird, very well spoken. I agree.
It is next to impossible for a good, honest person
to be elected any more. Sad Sad
