We harvested our potatoes today and had many with fire ant damage. Has anyone else had this happen and if so were you able to store them for any length of time?

Yes I’ve had fire ant damage before.  You may try storing those for a fall crop.

Thanks. We've never grown a fall crop before, but I would like to see if it could be done here. Our harvest was the best we ever had and it was disappointing to see that much damage. I really hate to throw them away and really don't need to can them. They can be peeled a little deeper and eaten. I may just try eating some, storing some and planting some.
