Just had a great walk. And let me tell you it was a nice one. That has to be one of the nicest raised bed gardens I've seen this year. Good luck and a great job. A+

Super garden. I can only aspire to get mine that nice. How much corn production do you get out of that area. I would love to have a small corn crop but not sure if it's worth it.

Thanks again everyone for your comments. Asparagus is finish for the year, strawberries are winding down.

Still picking mirliton and onions. Tomatoes, corn, and eggplant should be ready in late May. Okra and bell pepper about the beginning of May. Green beans, cucumber and Summer Squash should be ready mid May.

Tim,

I have 30 corn plants, should produce between 30 to 60 ears of corn.

Thanks Mike. I guess I should have counted and done the math myself. People always tell me you can't plant corn in a small area with any success, but you have proved that wrong. I will go ahead and plant me some and see how it goes.

Mike, you always raise the bar for us box bed gardeners.  Please post some new pic to show us how to kick it at the end of may!

Awesome job Mike. Looks like you have the raised bed method down to an art.

Once your beds are established, how often do you add compost and new dirt?
