Looks fantastic.  Love those mid Louisiana gardens!  I wish I had a garden that could catch just a little afternoon or morning shade.  I think it helps in the LA region to have that when the heat builds.   Wink

Little envious here....... Grin  Your growing season is a lot longer than mine here close to the mountains in Utah.  I am at about 7,000 feet and we have had two weekends of hard freezes.  Not unusual to have a few more snow storms before the weather turns nice.  Then we usually worry about a late August freeze.

But....your garden is beautiful, and gives me hope that warm weather will come here sometime.  I can see why you are proud of it!!

We had a great warm spring here in Tennessee, no winter at all, it was almost tropical and I realized why people enjoy gardening in the semi tropics like louisiana, and then we had several mid April frost and the ground got downright cold, I looked at my little dog one frosty morning this April and I said" Toto, I don't think we're in the deep south anymore"  We got plum spoiled until a frosty reality brought us back down to earth. Next year it'll be back to starting after mother's day again.

I had to laugh at your last post. It does not always rain the same at everyone's house. Hippie did not get any. And we all live with in a few miles of each other. Never under estimate the power of Mother Nature my boy.
