Gonna make a tandem and am hoping my little case will pull it.

It will probably pull it. Might need some weight, but your rear disc need to be reversed. They are are not going to cut the way they are.

Yep sarge, knew that. Think it would pull it if I made an offset out of it?
I really don't want to screw up those 2 Brinley disk to much though.

Not being familiar with the 446, I had to look online and saw it has a 16 hp Onan.  That's the same hp as my Satoh Beavers, even though they're diesel.  16 hp will pull a 4' tiller, operate a FEL and a backhoe, like this video of a 446 pulling an Ingersoll tiller.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=endscreen&v=qWXCt7e7ZSk

Since you probably have down hydraulics, you may not need the tandem.  The IH 140 I used to have didn't use tandem discs and dug pretty good with down hydraulics.

The Satohs are 4WD.  Grin  I couldn't pick up a 1200# round bale, but I could push it where ever I wanted it. Smiley

i'd say it will drag it all over the garden.... Nice looking setup. Looks a lot like my wheelhorse setup. Will get the job done.

Grin  What a KEWL TEWL.......that was Case's answer to the Cub Cadet.   Those were neat little garden tractors.  You ARE AWARE that people are restoring those things and there's a pretty robust little market in collection.  Folks are nostalgic for those neat little garden tractors.  They'll surprise ya with what they WILL DO.  Would you believe someone in Alabama is manufacturing a copy of the old Allis Chalmers 'G' ?  They call it Tuff bilt or Tough built or something like that.

It'll pull it no problem.....even with some weight on the disc.   I pull a 10" brinly plow at full depth thru clay sod with a 10 horse cub cadet.   As with most of these little garden tractors,  horsepower isnt an issue....traction is.  So find ya some good wheel weights for the case and look into loading the rear tires.....you'll be surprised how much that will help with stability and traction!.  put on a front weight bracket and find ya some small suitcase weights and you'll even be more happy!.  I didnt notice in your pics. but I believe Case offered a 3 point hitch or a sleeve hitch setup for that tractor.
Anyway......nice tractor and its in great shape.  You should take that too your local tractor shows.......folks really like seeing them!.

That goes for everybody.....a tractor doesnt have too have pretty paint too attend tractor shows......alot of folks like seeing the old tractors in they're work clothes too!

It has water and antifreeze in the rear tires, and the front bumper is around 50 lbs. and hollow so adding another 50 would be easy to add. Came with a 3 point, and hydraulic deck lift and I have a front blade with will hook up easily, and lift off of the deck lift.

My dad used a 446 for around 35 years to work his garden.  He pulled a 4' tandem disc all those years. It pulled it well.  My nephew has the tractor now using it for his garden
