I want to try this , maybe once I get the greenhouse going in March.. very neat to see it grow for you all..

Haven't gotten to it YET to welcome you aboard! Welcome to the Forum, Diane.

UPDATE: mine seems to be holding on OK. It has been able to keep quite a few healthy green leaves.
(assuming it must have put out some roots and is rooting OK.)
they will loose a lot of there leaves (dry up- returning food to the plant- assumed)

Just waiting to see some signs of new growth coming up.  Cheesy Cheesy

My husband and I have done several mission trips to Honduras.  I never really liked pineapple until I ate some there straight from the fields.  I believe I ate pineapple breakfast, lunch, and supper the whole time I was there.  It was sooooooo good!

Mine was doing great but almost got taken out by the freeze here a few weeks ago. It is now in the greenhouse. Really hope it recovers.

Glad to here your pineapple has a good start!

I guess I can say mine is still hanging in there. I should get some new growth-[sometime soon].

Here is mine that will be 2 years old this summer.  I have had to re-pot it one time.  It got a bit of frost on the leaf tips but seems to be ok.
