Grin In the same boat as you quiverful! I don't eat fresh tomatoes unless they are in salsa. I will eat them cooked but not raw. Thought I was the only one out there.... reckon not now.

Yes, I  love salsa too!  My best friend thinks I'm crazy to grow so many, but she sure doesn't mind eating them!

I will, and thank you, Jwalk for the welcome.  I enjoy this site sooo much.  I've been an avid gardener for years, and have decided to "amp" up how much I grow over the last 2 (growing for family and friends now).  I've learned a great deal here, and look forward to learning more.

Hi Kevin,

Just wanted you to know that the Baker creek rutgers tomato seed you sent me have made really nice tomato plants.  They are running neck and neck with Ferry Morris rutgers for being the best looking tomatoes in my garden.  Strong, thick stems and nice color.  They looked a little puny until I got them in the ground and then they really took off.  Thank you for sharing.

Kevin, I wanted to thank you again for those seeds.  I have 24 different types of heirloom maters going right now and the Rutgers are growing the best out of all of them.
